The Louis Vuitton handbags include vintage bags and pre-owned bags, check them out here:
Ever the greatest indulgence, Louis Vuitton is simply one of the biggest and most profitable brands in the history of fashion. Since its origins, it has cemented its ‘A’-list status among the rich and famous, even becoming a household name that’s synonymous with power, luxury and glamor.
The brand started as a vision – initially, of a young French box maker who left home to pursue his own dreams. Louis Vuitton became an apprentice in this field, and eventually gained a reputation as one of the best in the city (even serving the likes of the Empress of France, Eugenie de Montijo – the wife of Napoleon Bonaparte).
In 1854, he opened his first shop which paved the way for big leaps in design such as flat-bottom House trunks which could be stacked for travel. Vuitton continued to be involved with the brand’s production until his death at the age of 72, where he left control of the company to his son, Georges (who created the famous LV monogram canvas).
In 1987, the brand teamed-up with beverages giant Moët Hennessy to create what is known today as the world’s biggest luxury conglomerate, LVMH. Marc Jacobs was then appointed as its first creative director in 1997, where he introduced men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections.
Recently I have been getting a great deal of questions/emails concerning my Louis Vuitton Neverfull, so I figured a full review would be very helpful for those that are thinking about buying one! Before this, I did not have any LV. After I had my very own, I understood just how practical/useful that the Neverfull is, and I have never looked back! The most important reason I really like it is due to how flexible it is. It carries everything I want and easily transitions in my pure barre course to a date night with Chris (and everything in between!) It’s the type of bag that will never go out of style and may be worn out whatever the season or trend. The Louis Vuitton Neverfull comes in three distinct dimensions: PM (little), MM (moderate) and GM (big). Regardless of what size you have, the bag’s name fits it to a T – it truly is “never complete.” I own the MM – it is the perfect size because it’s big enough to carry everything that I want but doesn’t overwhelm my frame. I think if the bag was any bigger than it is, it’d seem too big! (I am 5’3 for reference)The bag comes in four distinct colors/patterns. Mine is your Damier Azur Canvas using all the “Rose Ballerine” interior – a stunning baby pink colour. I really like pink so this was the ideal option for me. I wore mine all summer last year, and even in the winter with winter white outfits (here’s a good example!) . My mother owns the Neverfull from the Monogram Canvas and she loves it she let me borrow it a lot during the fall/winter (here is a picture of me wearing it).
The rest, as they say, is history, and since then LV continues to expand with hundreds of stores worldwide and a growing number of designer brands under their umbrella (Dior, Céline and Givenchy, among others). To this day, their pieces receive major media coverage and a cult following among celebrities and elite personalities. Some of their notable ones including the Speedy, Noé and Alma bags.
